What we do

Every week we survey rates across Michigan lenders and benchmark them against Freddie Mac's national average. We review lenders the way a detail-obsessed friend would: pricing spreads, closing timelines, CFPB complaint ratios, and what happens to your loan after closing. And we track Michigan's assistance programs — MSHDA, city DPA funds, county quirks — in plain English.

What we never do
