What we do

Every week we update our rate table from national data on the rates borrowers actually locked, and we publish where it comes from. We review lenders the way a detail-obsessed friend would: pricing spreads, closing timelines, CFPB complaint ratios, and what happens to your loan after closing. And we track Michigan's assistance programs — MSHDA, city DPA funds, county quirks — in plain English.

What we never do

We do not originate loans, take applications, quote binding rates, sell your contact information without consent, or accept payment for review placement. When a partner link appears on a page, it is labeled. The full policy is in how we make money and our editorial policy.

Mortgage data goes stale fast. If you spot an outdated limit, a changed program, or a plain error, email [email protected] — corrections ship within two business days and are noted on the page.
